PCK Raffinerie GmbH, refinery with 54. 17% Rosneft shareholding, provides 1000 l of disinfectant agents in the land of Brandenburg on a pro-bono basis as part of sanitary measures to combat coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Rosneft Deutschland GmbH, a Rosneft subsidiary in Germany, initiated providing support of organisations in the land Brandenburg aimed at supplying additional consignments of sanitizers to local medical practices and local shops as well as to emergency personnel. The campaign was supported and financed by all the PCK shareholders.
Disinfectants are being packed at the refinery and planned to be delivered to around 60 enterprises and organisations, which have previously applied for support. PCK refinery coordinates the delivery, some of the more urgent deliveries will be made voluntarily by the refinery employees.
Use of disinfecting agents is one of the necessary measures advised by the state authorities to minimise the rate of infections during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rosneft Deutschland is following the guidelines of the government health authorities of Germany and the Robert Koch Institute and closely monitoring any updates in the situation. The company has implemented a range of measures including extensive home working and instructions on hygiene as well as quarantine in case of illness/contact with infected persons.
